We wanted to make a spot on our website to explain to our customers how exactly we calculate our Fuel Surcharge as per our Vince Ready agreement. Please see information below on our calculation process. 

The fuel surcharge language in the Vince Ready MOA bases the FSC on the pump price of diesel fuel over the previous period. Diesel fuel prices are monitored monthly, and the trigger point (base line) for fuel surcharge implementation is $1.05 per litre (Vancouver retail diesel, taxes in). For every FULL nickel above the $1.05 per litre benchmark, there is a corresponding 2% fuel surcharge administered.
